Q: I’m nervous about buying online. Is this site for real?
A: It’s smart to be wary about buying online. Our website is powered by Shopify which powers the websites of most of the well known big brands you are familiar with. It’s safe! You can also check out that we are a real company by calling or emailing us - fake websites don’t usually have a phone number or reply to messages. We are also all over social media. Q: How long until I receive my order?
A: We ship your order fast, same day or next day. Your order will arrive in 2-4 business days after purchase (in the United States. International shipping takes longer).
Q: Will my Baby Morgan blanket be soft right away when it arrives?
A: Yes, just one touch is all it takes to fall in love - it’s pillow-soft from day one.
Q: Does it have a label tag on it?
A: Yes it has a satin tag that measures 1.5”x2.5”. It is a straight tag, not a loop tag.
Q: Where are Baby Morgan blankets manufactured?
A. Like most textiles, Baby Morgan Blankets are manufactured in China. However, Baby Morgan is an American company and all our products are designed, sold, shipped and loved in the U.S.A. (Minnesota to be exact).
Q: What are the blankets made of?
A: Baby Morgan Blankets are made of 47% Rayon, 28% Polyester, and 25% Nylon.
Q: How should I care for my Baby Morgan Blanket?
A: To give your blanket the longest life, we recommend washing on a cold, gentle cycle with like colors. You only need to tumble dry low for a short time or can finish by hanging your blanket over the shower curtain or towel rod to dry. It dries quickly.
Q: How well does the blanket hold up?
A: Baby Morgan Blankets have been tested for durability. They can take a beating that kids give them and still be around for a long time. It is not a fragile blanket. That being said, any textile being used and washed hundreds of times over and over again may eventually wear out and need to be replaced. We encourage you to always check all your baby’s clothes, toys and blankets for wear before giving them to a child and replace if they appear damaged or worn. The blanket is easy to care for, does not typically retain stains, and can be washed over and over again and still come out looking good and feeling soft. It has been made to last for years.
Q: Is the blanket thin or thick?
A: Baby Morgan Blankets are a medium weight, but they are thicker than most thermal/waffle weave blankets on the market.
Q: Is it stretchy fabric?
A: Yes, the fabric does have some stretch.
Q: Is this blanket warm enough to bring my new born to home from hospital?
A: Except in the middle of winter, Baby Morgan blankets are the perfect blanket for most any time of year. It is perfect for indoor use any time, and is warm to about 40 degrees outdoors. Below 40 degrees, you would want an additional layer besides the blanket.
Q: Is it machine washable?
A: Yes
Q: Does the material shed?
A: As your dryer vent filter will tell you, every fabric sheds some fibers, the real question is how much, and is it noticeable. Baby Morgan Blankets do not shed excessively where it is a concern or noticeable. You will get best results washing with like colors.
Q: Is the fabric non-toxic?
A: Yes, it is safe for all ages and has been safety tested.
Q: How many layers of cloth are these blankets?
A: Baby Morgan blankets are 1-ply.
Q: What is the size?
A: Baby Morgan Blankets are offered in 3 sizes currently: an 18" x 20” mini-blankie (a common "security blanket" size), a 36" x 50” crib blanket, and a 50" x 60” throw blanket sized for big kids or adults.
Q: Is there packaging?
A: Baby Morgan Blankets are rolled and tied with a satin ribbon and product tag. They come in a clear plastic bag to keep them safe and clean and include a gift card (shown below). They are shipped to you or the recipient in a colorful poly mailer. Basically, they are gift-ready when you send or receive them! Here is a video of the Baby Morgan "unboxing" experience:
Q: What size is the blanket when it arrives in the package?
A: The mini-blankie measures 9”x4”x1” packaged up, the crib blanket measures 8”x5”x4” packaged up and the throw blanket measures 8”x5.5” x 5” packaged up.
Q: Can I use this for my dog/cat?
A: Yes, pets love the cozy blankets! Just ask Huxley of Afton, VA...

Q: What is the measurement of the satin binding?
A: Both our satin and nylon bindings measure a full two inches, just like the original blankets you remember.
Q: Does The blanket have a satin back?
A: No both sides of the blanket are thermal, the satin or nylon trim is only around the edges.
Q: Are the corners left open or stitched shut?
A: The corners are stitched shut. While we love to remain as true to the original blankets as possible, to give you the most longevity out of your blanket, we made the choice to stitch the corners shut on the new Baby Morgan blankets.
Q: Can these blankets be embroidered?
A: Yes, we offer embroidery or you can take it to a local embroidery shop. The fabric is ideal for embroidering.
Q: What seasons is this blanket good for?
A: Baby Morgan Blankets are appropriate for most seasons. Below 40 degrees it is recommended to add an additional layer.
Q: What is the difference between the nylon and the satin trim?
A: The nylon trim is not found on many blankets on the market today, but was found on all the blankets in the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. It is more true to the vintage, original blankets. The nylon trim is silky with a matte look. The satin trim is similar to what most blankets today are trimmed in. It is satiny and shiny. Either trim is great, babies of all ages love both, so it just comes down to personal preference.
